Join Purrfessor Algae to explore the diverse seaweeds of BC!

Algae Cove aims to be an introductory tool for people of all ages to the common seaweeds of BC. Players will get the chance to navigate the beach, collecting seaweeds and bringing them to the lab. In the lab they are provided with a picture of the seaweed in situ and information on the seaweed’s habitat, distinguishing morphological features and fun facts. The intention of this tool was for players to play the game, get excited about algae and be able to recognize the algae they saw in the game on their next trip to the beach.
